Agile Project Management with Scrum needs a skilled Scrum Master. In this class we teach you how to implement Scrum, how to be a Scrum Master and how to deal with your customer and organization.
This specific class will be co-thought by Jens Østergaard (http://www.scrum.dk) and Jeff Sutherland. Jens is one of the most experienced Scrum Trainers that you can get. Jeff is the father of Scrum and the most experienced Scrum person worldwide.
Agile project management is as radically different from traditional project management as agile processes are different from traditional methodologies. Rather than plan, instruct and direct, the agile project manager facilitates, coaches and leads. This person is called a ScrumMaster in the Scrum agile process to denote the difference and remind the person filling this role of the new responsibilities. Accepted participants learn how to be a ScrumMaster and how to make a development team, a project, and an organization agile. Exercises, case studies, and examples are used to bring home the realization of how to be a ScrumMaster instead of a project manager.
Goal
Each individual is trained to be able to assume the following responsibilities: Remove the barriers between development and the customer so the customer directly drives development; Teach the customer how to maximize ROI and meet their objectives through Scrum; Improve the lives of the development team by facilitating creativity and empowerment; Improve the productivity of the development team in any way possible; and, Improve the engineering practices and tools so each increment of functionality is potentially shippable
Training – Methodology
The training is done with lots of exercises. Be prepared to do hard work. The training will give you the feeling of Scrum itself.
The first day is dedicated to the Why and the Philosophy the of Scrum. In the second day we go deeper into Scrum and the mechanisms that makes it work.
Using anecdotes and experiences, teachers teach the Scrum methodology and how to use it to be THE effective Agile project manager – the ScrumMaster.

How To Register
Individuals wishing to attend the ScrumMaster certification course should register by this site (click on “Apply for this class now” at the top of this page). We will then send a confirmation letter and invoice will be sent in a separate mail. Course fee is payable by bank transmission.
Course Material
Participants will receive printed and bounded material on the first day of class. The material is in English and will change from training class to training class. The material will be enhanced by more slides, videos and other pictures in case the trainers will find this useful during class.
